Education: 2000-2004: B.F.A. in Photography and Digital Media, University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. 2005-2007: M.F.A. candidate in Fine Arts Photography, and New Media, Parsons the New School of Design, NYC, NY. Work History: 2006-2008: Director of Photography, Art Meets Commerce, New York City. -An Internet marketing, advertising and production company, I was recruited by the Creative Director to serve as their Director of Photography. My responsibilities included producing still images of represented Broadway and off-Broadway plays, AMC special events, and special projects. I also digitally captured performer interviews and produced and edited all video content for the web and television clients, including authoring DVD's and converting media to the correct format for web and television use. http://www.artmeetscommerce.net 2006-2008: Director of Photography/ Visual Designer, Nightmare Haunted House, New York City/Miami, FL -I've always had a passion for haunted houses and attractions. In 2006, I approached the Nightmare design team, showed them my portfolio, and was asked to join them as their Director of Photography, in charge of all visual media to the press. In 2007 I joined the 5 person concept-design team and was put in charge of all projected visual effects. The haunted house gets over 45,000 visitors in its 36 day run in the Lower East Side each year and recently drew the attention of Fuji TV in Tokyo and most of the major New York City based media. Both Fuji TV and AOL have named Nightmare the #1 haunted house in the country for the last two years. http://www.hauntedhousenyc.com 1992-1996: Aviation Administrator, Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA. -While in the Navy, I maintained the logs and records for hundreds of Search and Rescue missions into the Sierra Nevada mountain range. I also worked as the unit's documentary photographer for training exercises, and did extensive graphic design work developing logos, patches, newsletters, helmet art, and even painting 50' hangar doors with unit graphics. Extra duties included performing in over 750 precise military funerals and 200 retirement ceremonies. I received two Sailor of the quarter awards and a Meritorious Unit Commendation medal, and dozens of letters of commendation. http://www.navy.mil 1984-1989 Docent/Facilitator, Salvador Dali Museum. St. Petersburg, FL. -After a grueling 15 week docent training class, I gave over 60 public and private tours of the Eleanor and Reynolds Morse collection of the 8000 paintings, prints and drawings of the surrealist artist Salvador Dali.
